Changin Glue?

Postby Rob » Apr 22nd, '07, 18:10

Hey guys!

Quick question here; I've just got a supply on Changin' Glue, but it's a bit thin on the instruction-side

I was wondering how long - if I'm letting it go for the 'sticky/repositional' effect - I should be leaving it to dry?

So far, I've waited about 30 mins (until it goes clear), but I'm finding the tack to be more like post-it 'stick' than the stronger variety I've experienced with a pre-made effect that uses the same stuff (which has a 'stick' only slighly less than re-positional glue-dots).

Am I doing somthing wrong? Do I need the "Sticky Blue book" to enlighten me, or can anybody here help?

Thanks in advance Rob

join the two areas together straight away for it to glue-up pretty much like normal glue...

otherwise, leave it to air-dry for about 20 mins and you have the normal post-it note consistency...

Thanks for that bud :D

I was actually trying to establish whether there was a way to get a stonger 'tack' out of the stuff; I've actually sorted it now - it's something that needs two-three thin applications, letting each coat dry in-between.

Doing this actually gives you a stick very similar to d/s tape, but seems to last longer.

Very nice stuff indeed!!

(I've got one large tube on eBay at the moment, if anybody's struggling to get some at a decent price :D )

LOL - nice one Seige; always on the look-out for a sale

I'll see your £1.69, and offer the first TM member to buy my single solitary tube a price of £1.50 - just use the Buy it Now option, and PM me here to let me know, and I'll discount the sale
