Which of these fine magicians would you rather see at a convention?
I know some have appeared at conventions recently - so please take that into account. I am trying to put a line up for Ipswich this year and want to know the sort of people that would make you want to come.
Each magician would do a lecture, close-up and a stage performance.

I've seen the fantastic Mr.Oberon lecture twice now. Never heard of John Lenahan. But seeing Guy Hollingworth would be a real treat.

Any - not really fussed which as they're all good in different ways. Infact, why not go for them ALL?

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Hard to see how anyone could look past the gentleman Guy Hollingworth.

I think my personal favourite would be John Lenahan - I find him absolutely hilarious. Very entertaining.
Marc Oberon though is coming into his own at the moment. I saw his lecture last year at Top Secret Magic day and wasn't that impressed - but then at Blackpool he did something else entirely and blew everone away. It helps that he has some great effects out, but his ability to find any card in the deck at a moments notice (I'm not talking about Bang On either) was incredible. It reminded me a lot of Mike Close's handling of a memorised deck.
Then of course there is Guy Hollingworth. My worry here would be that he is so good, only the elitest cardicians would get anything out of it. But sometimes it is worth just watching these guys for the awe factor.

John and Marc definitely. John's style is manic, fast and comic ker-razy whereas Marc's is more subtle and gentle. Both are excellent entertainers, either would be a big attraction for me and certainly worth the price of admission.
