My specialism is not Psychology though its one of the subjects I study it as part of my degree which is in education. I never said I was a Psychology student.

I mentioned this trick which I saw on TV to one of the Psychology lecturers. He asked me for more information as he wasnt entirely sure what Derren Brown was doing based upon my rough description. I was just wanting to know more about it.

After reading the transcript and reading the actual force in Pure Effect (pages 155-158 in the Third Edition), it's clear there's a lot of direction and detail missing from the transcript.
