This might seem really basic, but I put different colour postit note bookmarks in the pages of the books I'm using.

Set pen to paper and make a list of your tricks. Keep that list in your pocket as a guide.

Warning though: you are in danger of not presenting the tricks to their best if you have so many you haven't learnt them properly - even to the degree you can't even remember what they're called or how they start!

Well either you can try to remember that all, or if you're like me and have a bad memory, write them down. Practice them until you can do them anywhere you are and keep doing them all so eventually you'll remember them. Also, some tricks have similiar methods so if you remember the effect and how to start the trick you can usually piece together the methods.

I'm just starting to do this know, but I think it's really going to help me out. I'm going to perform all my tricks on a camcorder and then upload them to the internet. Just seeing myself perform a trick will allow me to remember how to do it. I do have about ten tricks that I could perform off the top of my head but if I ever want to think about expanding it I know I will always have that database of the tricks that I know.
