HOLY S*IT BATMAN!

Postby MagicBill » Apr 26th, '07, 04:25

Ok, sorry if this has already been posted, but have you seen this?

I have a couple of theories, but they range from the video being shot backwards to aliens being involved so your comments are appreciated!

It looks like a VERY cool effect. I imagine it's angley though.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking

I hate to be controversial, BUT...

... at time of writing this there have been 61 views of this topic and 1, yes ONE, reply.

What the hell is going on? The effect, genuine or not, is incredible! Does nobody else have an opinion on this? I am losing my faith in the TalkMagic community! This place has become more like a library than a forum.

Well, since you're desperate for the attention....

It's genuine enough - or as genuine as any sleight of hand is...It certainly is an excellent effect, but it looks very, very similar to an effect by Glenn West called 'Seamless'. It may be the same method. Seamless was briefly released by Glenn and then withdrawn. As far as I know it isn't available, which is a shame. I haven't the first clue as to how it's done, but I enjoy watching it. Like sleightlycrazy though, I suspect it might be one for the camera only.

What you call heroism is just an expression of this fact; there is never a scarcity of idiots

Probably not as otherwise you'd be kneedeep in replies by now  . Also you probably need to give folks more than day to see the thread and respond - there are so many which crop up after even just a couple of hours and it's not easy to see, read, check out and reply to them all.

Looks fantastic, too good to be true, which usually means it is!

Don't think this could be one you'd pull out at the bar on a friday night!

1. Looks too good to be true, and thus probably is.
2. Nonetheless, it looks very cool.
3. You just gotta love the Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin and Paco De Lucia playing in the background. The album is 'Friday Night in San Francisco' and it's the greatest live album of all time.

Yes, it's a good trick. No, it's not too good to be true. Yes, it can be done with a little practice.
