My simple transposition

Postby stevebo » Apr 27th, '07, 00:18

Hey guys!
Here's a video of a little effect that I use. I just came up with it not too long ago but it has gotten some VERY good reactions! It's nothing new but I think it's nice. Hope you think so too :).

Enjoy!

(Just a side question... does anyone think I have a slight Chinese accent when I speak because some think I do and some don't. I just want a little feedback on that )

Very nice and smooth. I am from the States and not used to hearing British accents so that is what I noticed rather than Chinese. Either way, it was not a distraction from the trick. Good job.

Lovely handling there Mr. Bo! Very twirly and flashy. I like the duck change, from which teaching source did you aquire the neccesary knowlege to perform said change?

By the way, your voice sound english with a slight chinese twang to it.

I had to watch it with no sound, but it's very nice. Silky handling, and I love that change! I've never seen it before. I bet you blow people away with that.

I learnt the duck change from a brief explanation on another forum. Then I just worked from there. I'm sure it should be easy to learn from the video. Anyone who wants to learn, I can give tips but not full instructions. Just gimme a PM :)

I really liked it. I think what really makes the trick is your handling of the cards. It makes a simple trick look more difficult than it is. I think that your voice is very soft without much Chinese accent.

Thanks guys for the great comments :D.

Japanese?! lol! I'm Chinese though! How very unusual...

I think people should practice until they feel certain and confident about presenting them in front of a real audience before placing it on the web.

Nice moves ! I lparticularly like you swirling the card around your fingers. The music was a nice change from all the mindless grunge we hear these days on the web.

All I could think throughout was that I wanted some sweet and sour chicken balls. No idea why... :D

Good stuff though, nice and smooth.

I'm not sure why you cover up for a clearly racist slur ??
Its easy to pass such a comment off as "a joke".
