I thought about it but then I discovered "army of 52".
You can see pictures of all 52 gaffed cards here. They are regular poker sized bicycle cards. You can even get them in Tiger Deck and Ghost deck versions too.

I think that Sam's on about having a normal deck of cards with a personalised back design instead of the Bike/Tally and a host of others on the back.

Anyway, if this is the case then there is a number of posts about this very subject if you use the search function.

How did you come to that assumption ?

"I think that Sam's on about having a normal deck of cards with a personalised back design instead of the Bike/Tally and a host of others on the back". All he mentioned was that he wanted some "custom" cards. It is perfectly reasonable to assume that he meant "trick" (i.e. custom) cards.
Why not let him respond ??

I agree with Dat. When I think "your own custom cards" I think of David Blaine's Split aces, Criss Angel's gaudy back design, or the slew of other custom card services you can find through Google by typing in "custom playing cards." USPCC offers custom printing as well, but most of the options are pretty pricey.

Let go of your fragile ego, sir! There's no reason to get upset about a itty bitty misinterpretation...

In the end, of course, Sam is the only one who can clarify.

Ciao,
Rob

How did you come to that assumption

It was an assumption having seen the same question asked here many times before. Intuition perhaps? Anyway, I did however write "if this is the case" which offered the chance to reply

Anyway, turns out this is what Samstorey was looking for and now that we know, I suppose that it depends on the quantity that you're looking to buy. Most, but not all producers of decks want a pretty sizeable order.

If it's gaffs that you're after then obviously the Ellusionist decks are the ones that spring to mind but there is also the CAJ deck which is well worth considering. For other specialised cards I would highly recommend cardmaker.

It's a VERY expensive way of producing business cards and instead, why not use your old cards with a printed label stuck across the face/back?

I have cards I make, myself - so I guess that's custom made.

I can second Dave's recommendation. Bernd is extremely helpful and his quality is top notch. Had it not been for a design issue, he would have made the joker cards for my wedding.

Alas - I had to do them, myself - as well as make my own custom tuck cases. Tedious work, but so worth it!

I got married at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, so I made "jokers" out of an illustration I made of the bridge we were married on, with a gondola in the water beneath. As a special treat, I made a few gaffs that had the gondolieri holding their selection. Fun stuff! I had planned to do magic with their cards as fun - but didn't get very far along in that venture, considering the copious amounts of Jack Daniels I had....
