Review
Frankly, either I made the gimmick incorrectly, or I used the gimmick incorrectly, or this effect is pretty much rubbish. The PDF goes into some detail on making the gimmick so I don't think I made it incorrectly. As soon as I got it and made the gimmick I thought to myself "there is no way this will work", and when I tried it on two friends it didn't. The just laughed at me for thinking they would ever fall for it.
For the gimmick you will need something extra that some of you probably already have, and it will only cost you about £2 if you don't. Making the gimmick takes maybe five minutes.
From Daniel's site I got the impression that I could use this force anywhere and make it my standard everyday card force. This is not the case though. It's hard to say much without exposing too much, but the gimmick leaves the deck practically unusable.
It also doesn't work 100%. Yes, if you have good control over your spectator and present it in the right way it will work 100% (as long as the spec doesn't catch you out), but technically it won't.
The bonus effect, The Fine Scripture, that you get free when purchasing Cut is average at best. Saying it's an "essential card effect for the serious performer" is a gross overstatement.
Overall
This may sound harsh but Cut is one of the weakest effects I've bought. Perhaps a more experienced cardhandler like Daniel can take the concept and turn it into a miracle, but frankly I don't see how.
2/10. I won't be using this ever.
