Kid shows help!

Postby snicket » Apr 29th, '07, 21:30

Hey everyone,
I have a couple kids I know, that have birthdays coming up and was thinking maybe I could do magic for a small pay. Now I need help on what do kids like (ages: 4-7)? I have tons of card tricks, but I have seen that they don't really care for those. So any ideas?
Thanks
Snicket :)

Plenty of things with a change bag.

And a PATEO force with envelopes where all the indifferent ones mention disgusting food (like cat brain) and the final one has smarties (candy) which you have in a box.

oo tough room  okey dokey then i asume you don't want to start paying out loads of money then.

card tricks that work are card to forhead / glasses my personal favourate basicly they select a card you loose it in the deck and attempt to turn it over in the deck behind your back, they look for it and can't find it because its stuck to your forhead / glasses.
colour changing kings to aces, scan and print to a4 and laminate.
vanishing lady, queen inbetween two aces changes to an ace, produce lady from top pocket (small version) use a flapper card for a4 version.

anything big bold and colourfull, professors nightmare with bright yellow ropes, cut and restored rope, make it funny by giving the knot away and say if anyone asks what it is just tell them its a fraid knot.
mutiplying sponge cubes, kill a bathroom sponge, kill two for colour changing sponges.
cups and sponges, candy machine, weard that rabbit go, lion to lady all make at home stuff blue peater style.

Whow! Thanks for all those. I have color changing kings to aces so That will be one. Now you said scan and laminate, does that make DF/backed cards? Thank you so much that gives me tons of choices. :)

scan in the faces and backs of your colour changing kings to aces and print them on a4 card, laminate if required so you get a set of jumbo cards, easier for the kids to see and they can shout out the colours as they change.

same if you have any packet tricks that don't require any special handling and yes you can make jumbo doubles for other tricks.
