Very happy!

Had an idea the other day. Card through window - yes I know that this has been done to death, but it is a version that I know hasn't been done before. Tried it out today and it worked really well!

Now what makes this different you may ask? Well, the card is signed :D and none of this "surgical" nonsense - it is literally you get the signed card, place it at the window, and pull it out the other side :D

It is still undertaking some twists to get it to be 100% effective, and it is rather hard to do at the moment, so Im trying to make it easier...but man, I think I may have summit here - especially after the reactions i had today!

just thought i would share my happiness and joy ;)

Whow sounds great! I would love to learn that. Can you do it at a store window or does it have to be a set place?

it is an unprepared window, but at the moment it has to be a glass door window. im trying to use this principal on a standard window, but i cant see a way that it wood. but you can just allow the card to drop to the floor. at the moment i have two variations, both signed. one is with the face of the card facing the specs, and one is with the back. the one with the face facing the specs is harder to do, though not a tree-mendous amount harder.

and no, for obvious reasons you cant do it surrounded...but who would want to surround you anyway...they wouldnt get a good view and wouldnt be able to see the effect ;)

oh...and you are left completely clean

oh - and just to mention, I got the inspiration from Kevin Parker's "Edge"...though dont worry people...the method is not the same in the slightest (bearing in mind the whole of my card goes through...). he just said two words that got the ball rolling, and formed a brand new method in my mind :P

ill try and film this week if i can get the gimmick again. it broke you see...used a real low budget gimmick...didnt wanna spend that fiver ;)

well embarrassed when it broke halfway through...managed to get out of it though. but i guess failure is all part of the learning process of perfecting it! though it wasnt the rouine itself...it was just a cheap-ass performer's version of the gimmick :P

yup. can be done with signed coins (though not as visual due to the size) and *in theory* can be done with gloves, hats (though a beanie kind...not the "baseball cap" kind), chicken bones.....

yeah me too. The only CTW I have is ultimate card through window and I'm pretty disappointed with it as are pretty much everyone else who bought it.

oooh...thought i would also throw into the mould that it can be done on a big piece of plastic or summit else opaque. this way, you can actually see the card when it disapears, before pulling it out the other side.

:D
