A most unusual paragraph ......

Postby moonbeam » Apr 27th, '07, 21:01

Question:

This is a most unusual paragraph. This writing may annoy you until you find out why it is so unusual, for you won't find a solution instantly. But don't go into a tailspin about it or go crazy, for it isn't that difficult. But you will admit that it is most unusual. This writing looks so ordinary that you might think that nothing is wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it. But it is unusual, and you must ask why. If you study and think about it, you may find out why, but you must do it without any coaching of any kind. No doubt if you work at it for long, it will dawn on you...who knows? So start to study it now, and try your skill at finding out what is so unusual about this writing. If you can do it in half an hour, you may claim an approach to wisdom, but if you can't do it in half an hour...

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

It's also not a question and has four sentences that start with prepositions, three of which start with the same one, which is very unusual for a paragraph.

Has anyone come across E-prime? No, it's not the latest disco biscuit but a form of English without the verb "to be". You can't use it to write in the passive voice, only the active.

Theres a pretty big one of these and you can read it perfectly actually that's why you need to keep the first and last letter at the right spot
