Afternoon!

Postby Julian » May 4th, '07, 14:06

A quick introduction, if there is such a thing....

Julian, 37, EN, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Been lurking here a few weeks and watching what goes on as well as digesting a few books to get me started - now decided time to say hello and start contributing.

Other interests outside work inc. diving, motorbikes, snowboarding, flying & skydiving - although to be honest decided flying is safer :)

Not really sure which part of magic I will settle on as a favourite but currently edging towards coin followed by mentalism. Early doors so that could all change as I delve deeper , but that the fun of it all !

All the best,
J.

"If at first you don't suceed, then skydiving is probably not the hobby for you...!"

A very warm welcome, Julian - thanks for the intro :D

As you've already lurked a little, you'll already know what a great place this is, and how friendly the inmates...ermm...members are.

Any problems, questions, comments or observations - please just shout!

Look forward to seeing you on the boards very soon.

Rob

Hi and welcome to TM

Sheffield eh ?? I've got a m8 who works for the Sheffield Star :)
It's a big place Sheffield, so I won't even bother asking if you know him :?

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Thanks all.

Moonbeam - def small world, my Dad used to work for The Star years ago before he decided on a career change. Can remember as a kid sat on the sports desk on a Saturday morning as all the results came in.

Hi Julian, welcome to TM. :D

You never know where you'll end up with magic, I wanted to get into mentalism when I started. Now my favourite type of magic is sponge balls. :?

Sorry - sometimes I really should exercise a little restraint...

..That said, the last time I exersised my restraints, one of them broke, and it cost a fortune to get it fixed (not to mention the funny looks I got in the hardware store   )
