That's not a flash, that's the light shining on my finger, not a rubber band. If you know the handling for this effect, you'll know the rubberband is never around that finger. I see what you're saying though. It kinda looks like it. I know I should have used 2 different colored bands but i didn't have any. Only normal ones.

Didn't know the effect  , so I apologize for the false alarm.

Absolutely brilliant Trooper_Trent!
Like Bananafish, kitaristi0 and StevieJ said, this is well worth the posting and nice simple magic. On the other hand, I don't understand what motivates some of the other members to try so hard to make little of what they see. Some of the comments would have been ideal for PM, not public.
All I can say is: Keep up the good work and if you decide to remake it, you might consider a darker background, but this lightgreen one was OK.

So what? Does that make you feel better to boast that you are so great? tsk...tsk...tsk...

And by the way, Cooldudedan... since October 2005... have you introduced yourself yet in the forum? ...or you monker59?

I didn't create my own thread to introduce myself, but rather posted on a new one made by another American.

I don't get it... did you introduce yourself in some other member's introduction?

That would be rather confusing if everybody would introduce themselves under other people's threads, don't you think?

You know... you don't have to pay for new threads, your credit card is left alone. This is just a matter of common courtesy. Usually when people enter a new place it's concidered courteous to say hello and tell a little bit about yourself.

I'm not an idiot, I know I don't have to pay to use this forum. If you've looked around, I've posted a bunch of new threads. If the mods or the admins want me to reintroduce myself by posting another thread, I will.

Ah lovely, a simple rubber band thread deteriorates into pointless argument...

Gunnakr, leave off the poor lad, failing to introduce yourself on your own thread is hardly the hanging offence you seem to think it is.

Coodudedan, you can do it with two different coloured bands, in fact it's better if you do, and you can do it in a spectator's hands. Worked it out did you?

Didn't you immediately post after I put the video up bragging that you know how to do this? If that's the case why would you think they have to be the same color. It's absolutely NOT necessary for the bands to match. Its actually a lot better to use different colors and even different thickesses of bands. I just didn't have any colored ones laying around at the time.
But lets not get off subject here, I think this thread is mainly about how to introduce yourself properly. Maybe I should change the title of the thread.  :P
