For anyone who uses card mucking or is good at card mucking. Can this be done on wooden tables? For example a table at a restaurant or a pub? Will the cards just slide across the table? Will the cards have to be bent to get underneath?

Loads of questions! I am practicing mucking at the moment and cannot do it on a wooden table but on carpet is starting to look pretty good! But Im just interested to know if it is do-able on wooden tables because otherwise I'm sort of wasting time

Depending on your technique, and the condition of the cards, it is possible to muck cards on most surfaces. However, without knowing what muck you are attempting, it's hard to make a definite statement.

I am trying the switches, thumb first are the main priority with both one and two cards. I will start with the pinky first once I have the thumb first switches down.

If you are trying thumb first on a wooden table you'll need to experiment with the angle of the incoming card. Too steep and the outgoing card will push away before you get the card under it, too shallow and you won't be able to lift it. I've just done a bunch on my desk, so it is possible
