Okay... the first effect - what was that about? It seemed like a transposition of a Joker and a selected card, but was convoluted with two other indifferent cards, a control that wasn't (and unnecessary, really) and some random dealing... the magic gets lost along the way, and isn't magical enough to warrant that much time spent on it. I recommend a classic two-card transposition utilising D/Ls - far more direct and natural.

The ones I currently use are Peter Duffie's Crystal Clear Transpo and, for a lengthier effect, a Britland handling of Hamman's Signed Transversal Triplet with my own little twist at the end.

You need to work on your handling of the DL - it was apparent that there was more going on there than there should have been, and your handling after the change was more natural than before, which tips things a little bit (a Strike DL is a good, natural handling of it).

If you're going to do a mixture of the tent-vanish/DL then you might want to consider turning the cards so the back is towards the audience, the magic happens, then turn it back, still tented, to show the change.

The Erdnase was all right, but could be smoother and faster; it's just a matter of practice, but it's better if you don't push the card flush with the deck before it changes; keep it protruding as that happens. The pushing forward of the card should seem incidental, with no attention paid to it.

Can't fault the dropping of the cards :D.

The next was the best, although your right hand could have been held a bit more naturally; the stiffness of it suggests something is going on there.

And yes, the last change flashed quite badly.

Apologies if that seemed overly-critical, that's just what came to me. Hope it's of some help!

I quite enjoyed it, although I felt some of the sleights were a tad obvious, such as the in jog, but then that might just be knowing what to look for. Would of enjoyed the first trick more if there was a patter with it, as I wasn't sure what was happening exactly.

Pretty good little video. The first trick is a wonderful trick but with patter. I have performed a version a few times. As noted above some of the moves wer obvious but all in all good video.

Ok i hope your one of the people who post actually looking for advice/tips/ constructive critisicm

* The first effect would have been very confusing if i didnt know it already. Not something really suitable for a video with no patter. During the effect your actions where too deliberate, Especially during the overhand shuffle, and i bet you were looking straight at your hands!!

* The first colour change was a bit under-whelming of course the real power of a colour change is too see the face of a card instantly impossibly change.

*Dropping of the cards?? not sure what this was about :? although it was kind of funny

*Erdnase change- To be honest this needs a lot of work. The initial push forward should be invisible, and it is fairly obvious what you are doing. At its best (which i am far from myself :P ) This change is stunning. You have an obviously empty hand just a brief wave over the deck and the card has changed!!

You can see a great example Here (just click erdnase change)

* And has been mentioned you falshed quite badly on the last change

A bit more practice though and you'll be there :D

Hey man it's good to see you putting up videos for tips and suggestions!

I would have to agree with most of what has been said already, and that you will need to practice a lot more to get smoother and more confident.

As I have never seen the first trick before I was confused. It looked like two cards swapping places to me and that can be done an awful lot quicker and easier with a few DL, no need for the random dealing and glides that where there.

The Erdnase needs to be smoother. Try looking out for a video of Justin Miller do the Erdnase and you will see what I mean.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDJ3bW9wSUE - Thats one video but there is another somewhere with a great looking Erdnase. I will try to find it

People are saying you flashed on the last change but you actually flashed on all of the changes. You could see the second card on the Erdnase, you could see you little finger on the second change and the last is, well, flashy (not the good sort) :(

Dropping of the card has already been mentioned so I won't comment

Your over hand shuffle I thought even needed a bit of help. Why did you shuffle off just one card so many times? Fair enough you jogged one card but you might as well have shuffled the whole deck off and not put down such a huge chuck of cards at the end.

But like I said its good to see you posting up videos of yourself! I will be looking forward to your next one :D

Just something fun.

Cardaz and everyone thanks you soooo much for the constructive criticism, I will practice now and get down what you all have said. Thank you once again! :)

Ah from RRTCM - it's the kind of effect that really needs the patter :D

Okay... firstly you need to be ALOT smoother, you seem so figity, and you really need to practice the basic overhand shuffle sleight.

I didn't think much of the colour changes either they looked obvious and weren't smooth.

You need to practice and practice some more.

Also don't be hasty only perform when you can do it flawlessly.
