If I was in America Id be there. Unfortunately I drink tea and eat scones an awful lot and have no money to pay for a transatlantic flight.

I just came back from the CAMaraderie Convention, and it was the BEST time I have ever had! Got to meet Juan Tamariz, Richard Sanders, Hiawatha, Boris Wild, David Ben, and many more! I honestly never slept at all... too busy jamming with other magicians!

Also, the competition: I lost. The winner was Eric Leclerc, whom you may know from Jay Sankey's Underground Jam DVD.

I have to agree. This was my first convention and it was amazing. I think I slept about 5 hours in total over the 3 nights.

I ended up sitting across the table from Juan Tamariz for over 3 hours. Now that's an experience I will not soon forget! Who else can do "oil and water" with 7 decks? He had a room full of magicians reduced to 5 year olds seeing their first magic trick. It was fantastic.

The competitions were fun to watch and a couple of the stage competitors were really good. The gala show on Saturday night was very strong, I was completely blown away with a couple of them.

Overall, great conference!

Fantastic! I believe we were sitting together at the Juan Tamariz private show. It was fantastic!
