I'm Shabadarniggadoo,
I'm 20 years old and have been interested and performing magic for about 5 years or so, I have combined a unique mix of humour and bar and pub style tricks into my own brand of magic. I always strive to create my own tricks, as I believe it's what makes you a better magician, also, to "amaze" people with something you've created and worked on for countless hours gives you a better feeling then just showing off someone elses "trick" If you would like to know more about me and my repotoire then email or msn me.

I currently use a few gimmicks in my tricks that can be bought from most magic outlets, I also have several of my own creations I use when they are working..haha. I like a good card trick and have adapted many others into my own style, given them my own personal touch if you will.
I have purchased hundreds of dollars worth or tricks from magic retailers only to be dissapointed... this is when I started thinking and developing my own..

I have the greatest respect for sleights, and those who can master them, I only use a few in my routines but I find I can use the same sleights over and over but just incorparate them in new ways. I'm very eager to learn and share what I know, and discuss them.

Can someone please tell me about what nature of material I can ask for and discuss openly, I apreciate tricks should never be revealed, but if I know "the secret" and the person I am talking to also know, how can we discuss it?

The simple answer is that you can't. If it's your own secret then by all means chat away but if it's someone else's then that must be kept a secret otherwise it's exposure. The PM function will allow more specific conversations with another member but we don't allow it in the open forum.
