breakdancing/magic?

Postby bboynightwing » May 14th, '07, 01:11

hi, im new to magic and do not have an idea of all the different magic tricks.

i would like some help on figuring out wat tricks might be of some use to me. Things that maybe you dont have to carry around or maybe somthing that is not noticable and can be done in normal everyday clothing.

i currently know disjointed.. which i havent decided how to incorporate it into my breaking.

STS- i got an idea but havent tested it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sb8xEy-YSf4 - this is the move im thinking of and combined with the Self tying shoelace i think would be interesting. (thats not me in the video)

and has anyone seen that trick where chriss angel is wearing no shirt and then suddenly he is. well i can do that except i put it into breakdance form.

those are just some general ideas of tricks i am looking for that i can easily travel with and do at any time. so if anyone knows a trick that i can maybe look up and see what it looks like or where to purchase i would apreciate it.

Shirt Happens would definitely work in that situation. My review of it and where you can purchse it are here:

You could try a levitation during your breakdancing. How about Criss Angel's OR even better, Icarus Effect?

You might want to look at getting a couple of d'lites - there's a whole lot you could do with them while dancing..

in the dance world we call it "conjouring" and it's usually done with Photons and goes a little something like this

you could also get a hold of some "orbits" or Astro-Jax and try and make this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D18FT1hw ... ed&search= look a bit more magical.

i think i've got my rave-head on here, i've gone into magcal raving rather than bboying, but you get the idea.
if someone ever gets a proper hang of tutting let me know

I think if you incorporated D'lites into your breakdancing, that would look really cool.
