So with reveiling the trick or how it's done, I want to ask some question about peoples personal experience with the trick. As it goes, you can make a chain, string, floss, or whatever, go 'through'your neck and pull it out slowly in full view. Unfortunatly these questions are asked so obscure that if you don't know how the trick is done already, you light as well forget about it and read someone else.

First, I want know if anyone has had luck with using types of necklaces or chains. I had better luck with a non-shiny silver type. Yarn works Horribly.

Most importantly, after the amazed people are done gawking and they say "Can we see it again", the second time seems not to work as well. It seems that there is a dirty build up; any advice?

Also, I was not able to find the "One" with the cow on it *You'll know if you know*, I got a cheaper whatever brand and it does not seem to work very well. Does the one with the cow on it work well? will it leave any mess? can it be repeated twice with good results?

Anybody try any other 'stuff'?



This trick is amazing, but I see that people can figure it out pretty easily and I want to know if it is the quality of the materials or what.

Whilst it could be the materials used, I'd say that generally, the secret of this effect is partially in the performance but also in using the right quantity of the r***** c****t. You need to experiment to find out exactly what works best for you before you go out and perform it.

It doesn't need to be the brand with the cow on it!

Next issue, like nearly ALL magic you shouldn't do a repeat performance of this! The materials just will not have the same properties the second time around without a full reset - if you see what I mean. If you perform just once and do it well, very few specs will figure this out.

As for chains etc; I've not heard of anyone attempting to do this and will be very surprised indeed if this works.

Sorry, I meant Chains as in necklaces that are of the chain type, other than the braided ones.

I knew what you meant but still don't believe for one minute that a necklace of any type will be suitable.

Buy the DVD!!! you can't use anything but what is spcified on the DVD. This is a "geek" illusion and sean I believe give proper credit for his inspiration on th DVD. If you are thinking about a purchase I would say yes especially fi you want to perform in bars and clubs. Not for Kids!!! Not for Old people either the audience should be 18+ and already be comfortable with this type of magic. If you are not comfortable with this conditions this DVD si probably not for you. I have personnally performed under these conditions with perfect "Geek" reactions. As for the cow It doesnt matter just practice for more than a day and try not to hurt yourself. 7/10 'Geek" magic

I just got Saw from ebay! I am really impressed. R***** C******* is new to me, I am thinking of other ways I could use this gimmick, I would not try to repeat this trick immediatley but would show the same people more than once without any fear of exposure. It really looks amazing I paid less than £7 on ebay, good price or expensive? I dont know I didnt search for it in any shops, yeah I got CUPS

I opened the package and performed Saw with black thread from my wifes sewing box immediatley.


mmmmmm after ending 'clean', the next morning (after a nights work i add) i had a black strip on my kneck, looks clean dont mean clean, definatley gotta use something else to remove gimmick, still love it.

Rub it off. A little vigor and some determination will make it fall right off.

I'm not a big fan of Saw, the set-up, clean up or illusion....BUT, to be honest as far as the illusion very few people even want to look directly at it once they see what you're doing. A hardcore sceptics will ruin this one in a second, but on the other hand a superstitious person will freak and make you feel like your a haitian voodoo man.

If only there was a quick setup once you've gauged your audiance... personally, I'm working on a quick patch application. Shhhh! don't tell, it's gonna make me rich, rich, rich.

IT works just fine for me. I have used- wire, fishing line, dog tag chains, necklace chains, and many more things.

I love this effect, and perform it all the time in my shows, and when just hanging out. I get great reactions and comments from both lay and magicians alike.


And will you people edit your posts. Just putting the first letters? Come on, any one with two brain cells can figure it out. Please change that.

There is already a way to apply the RC right in front of your audience. I got the idea from Andrew Maynes Shock FX dvd, he uses the application for his paperclip through arm effect and its pretty darn clever. Its justfied aswell

If you know the working of Saw, you should be easily-able to figure out what the poster means
