Foolproof routines with a set of 5 ESP cards?

Postby RobLaughter » May 16th, '07, 19:57

I'm looking for some foolproof routines for using ESP cards (one of each symbol). I'm not all that crazy about the effects on Banachek's Psi Series, and the psychological forces in "Psychological Subtleties" are too soft for just casual carry-around presentations.

What I've done is turned a stack of my business cards into ESP cards using some white labels. I want to use these in daily life with anyone who approaches me and asks to see something. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Rob

P.S. If your suggestion is bordering on exposure, it may be best to PM me. I won't mind

Max Maven's VideoMind Volume Two has two BRILLIANT ESP effects on there. Well worth checking out, I did a review of it that's knocking about somewhere on here.

Awesome, thanks. I've got the series, too--I can't believe I overlooked that!

There are a host of good routines that come with the excellent "Beyond Esp 2" cards from magicbox, which are excellent cards, and also a good few more on the "Submodalities" dvd, also by magicbox.

Thanks for the suggestion. The idea, though, is to be using my own cards that are reasonably non-suspect and practical, effective giveaways. I'm not sure if I could find anything that fits the bill in the magicbox videos (whatever "magicbox" is), but if it requires buying more cards, I'll choose to pass.

------------------------------------------
EDIT: I looked up magicbox (I'm in the US so UK dealers are foreign to me--pun making sense and consequently intended), and the "Beyond ESP 2" deck seems great, but a marked deck is certainly irrelevant. I'm tempted to purchase Submodalities, but I'm worried I'd 1.) be paying far too much (as the US Dollar is pretty worthless in the UK) and 2.) have to have it shipped from the UK, which drains even more of my pitiful US college kid bank account.
------------------------------------------

Further, my mentalism library is pretty massive as it is, but suprisingly few books have ESP card routines (with the exception of the Larry Becker tomes I've yet to look through again). Simple ideas, as Demitri shared with me in PM (thanks, Demitri) are far more helpful than "buy this and look in it."

For now, I'll keep brainstorming and replying regularly to bump the thread and foster more replies

Dirt cheap indeed! I think I'll pick that up before I go for a highly over-hyped and over-priced DVD release.

Excellent find--thanks.

There's a nice ESP card and envelopes trick on Richard Osterlind's "Easy To Master Mental Miracles!" vol 3.

Actually, why not simply put the cards into a circular stack?
