Hello there everyone,

Im new to this forum and hope to meet tons of great people (im sure i will) share some ideas and get great advice.

I am a Scottish based magician and have been enjoying magic since i was a young boy. Up until 3 years ago i was a Police Officer in Central Scotland Police. I left for another job offer came my way. This also allowed me to focus on Magic.

No one can judge thier own level of competancy but I opted to do a few gigs. Which I did.

One thing i find hard is getting the work, putting myself outthere. I totally understand the Ethics involved in being a working Magician. With regards to respecting other Magicians areas, circuits and prices. But its just all so difficult. OR can i not see a clear path yet?

Anyway, sorry to rant on and thankyou for your time.

Please peruse and critique my videos at www.youtube.com/user/divinity79

Hi Divinity - great to have you here!

I'm sure you'll find TM an amazing Forum - there's month's (if not years) worth of good, quality reading here already, and most of the folks are some of the nicest people you could hope to correspond with (the others smell a little like Bovril, but we won't go into that here  )

I hope you have a great time with us, and look forward to seeing you on the boards soon :D

All the best,

Rob

Hi and welcome to TM

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

em......... well....... actually, now you mention it, Im sure Fish and Chips originated in Greece mid 12th century called Chippus Fishalite Maximus so therefore, technically in a round about sort of way... I DO like exotic food. Good call Rob. :)

Think that constitutes "a hit" :P

Not good enough for me - I'm a bleedin' perfectionist!

Okay - let's try again; from your posts, I'm also getting some kind of uniform, coupled with a violent sport...?

That any better, Johnny?

Welcome to TM!

So far I think your videos are very good. I definitely think you should post more and your personal favorites in the "File Sharing" forum. I think a lot of other people would really like to see them. Unfortunately, not many people comment in the "Introductions" forum too often :( .

Thanks Monker, again for taking the time to check out my videos.

I will upload some to the File sharing part once I am afforded entry into such.

Take it easy bro.
