Hey, I'm Schwen, from essex in the UK (for the time being)

I just recently got into magic and am starting to learn my way up, learning sleights and card skills and basic tricks. Really enjoying it, especially the reactions I get when I perform a trick to people. I especially like impromptu tricks and close up stuff. I like the big flashy stage magic as well, and am hoping to go see Penn and Teller and maybe Lance Burton in vegas next year.

My friend penny got me into magic originally, she became a little enamoured with barry and stuart and took me to one of their shows, and then on to a pete firman show and both of them really blew me away. Even when Pete was getting heckled majorly (clubs in soho, not generally the friendliest places). But I really like barry and stuart and look forward to seeing more stuff from them, they obviously have talent, and although it seems they're not the most popular people on here, they are extremely entertaining for perhaps more the younger generation, and having chatted to them, they both seem really nice and genuine people, if not a little nervous when not using their on stage personas. I'm rambling, basically that's what sparked my interest, since then I've spent most nights fiddling around with a deck of cards or a rubber thumb

Hi and welcome! Stuart and Barry have had a rough ride at times but we know they, and Pete Firmam, have a lot of talent and it certainly shows. Also they don't take themselves too seriously which is a big plus here on TM!

Awww, I wasn't hitting on her, I was just making a joke. Not every teen is entirely controlled by his hormones.

Hormones or not hormones, I think we must request quality, rather than quantity. This is what happens when members don't even read the posts, just reply blindly and try to send as much as possible in as short time as possible... almost 15 posts a day on average...
