Teaching (8/10): The Teaching is excellent, and normally would deserve a 9, but it is taught by a minor. He goes into everything with excruciating detail and even gives a few tips that have nothing to do with the trick!(That was, by the way a plus )

The Trick (8/10): The Color-separation plot is something I have loved for a long time. The twist this trick adds is amazing. I really like the set-up! All you need to do is get 26 red-backed cards and 26 blue-backed cards. The deck is shuffled thoroughly by the spectator, and the magician doesn't do any funny moves. A lot of people think it is the same as Out of This World, or Cosmos, but they are wrong!

The Flexibility (7/10): This trick is flexible in patter and with the four versions it is also really flexible, but not so flexible as to have the ability to change a sleight.

Difficulty(2/5): Takes a little practice, but what doesn't?

Angles(8/10): There are some small angle problems but practice takes care of it!

Price(10/10): It is only five usd. Cheapest good thrick ever bought.

OVERALL: 8.5/10

Seriously mate, you need to get a spell checker and re-shoot that video!

I take it this is your own effect... If so, you're the one person who can't write a review of it.

Doubtful discoman boom boom. I for one didnt like it the handling was abit jerky and at the end of the day so what. Oil and water is a much cleaner effect and you dont need to be doing deck gymnastics.

at least i know what it isn't now.

i have to asume that it uses freeware moves / sleights as he dosn't credit anyone for the routine he's selling, otherwise he could be lible for damages.
it looked ok to me just seemed to take so long and the effect wasn't realy explained, what i saw was someone shuffle a deck of cards mix it a bit then show that half were one colour and the other half were another.
maybey redoing the video to make it a bit more obviouse. :?:

maybe it was me, or the video quality was poor

but wasnt that just a case of having 26 red cards with a red backed deck and 26 black cards with a black backed deck?

I DOUBT anyone can take that seriously!!

No I am not the one who made it, but it is pretty cool when the spectator does it. There are two slieghts used(Hope that isn't revealing to much).

Bad discoman..

I would redo the video. OOTW, oil and water are much stronger in my opion but then again what do i know?

I've done similar things, but didn't have the faces match the back colors. Essentially I just had the person split the deck into two piles, explaining that they shouldn't think about dividing colors, but instead think about instinct. This way, the colors were completely mismatched, making everything seem to make no sense. From there, the cards are turned over to show they have actually separated the colors of the backs.

I thought it played out rather nicely, actually. I've done it a few times, and some decent responses came of it. I still uphold the original OOTW theme is better, though.
