hey guys. just a quick question . just been my mates b-day, and he has this sweaty hand disease thing, so always warps his (and my ) cards. Just wondering whether those see-through plastic bikes are waterproof, and whether sweaty hands will affect them?

You should try buying some special cream for your hands that might help. If you go to boots you will find some stuff that you can put on your hands and it will stop them sweating.

its not my hands, its my friends, and i was thinking of getting him those bikes. he actually has been diagnosed i believe with this sweaty hands illness thing (dont ask the name...i dont no ) and no matter what he does it is still really bad. thats why i was asking if those bikes were waterproof?

The Card Collection has some bikes printed on plastic. They should do you.

Yup. The plastic cards are indeed waterproof; they're my card of choice for drinking games as the beer washes right off!

Over here in Thailand, there are two decks of cards available. Winners (Borderless Bee wannabees!), and 100% plastic cards.

I have had the misfortune to use plastic cards!

If you get a plastic card slightly wet, it will end up sticking to the card next to it, and make any moves extremely difficult. It doesn't sound like the right solution to me. Although, I don't know what to suggest!

It may be that he doesn't sweat sufficiently to get the card wet enough to cause the sticking.

You could have him develop a routine that takes advantage of sticking two card together?

Buy him them, and see how he goes I guess (for want of other suggestions!)

No I reckon the plastic cards will work although the natural salts in sweat may still taint the cards surface? maybe?

I used to try powdered chalk while bowling or playing pool. They if you've got exceptionally sweaty hands like I do, it makes your hands quite muddy!

Just don't let him touch your cards.

dude, just lend him some latex gloves during a performance and tell him its because he will be doing the magic
