I watched this movie a long time ago, and there is only one scene I remember, but I hope you could help me.
The main point (as I remember) was a trick with three safes one into the other. The magician enters in the middle one, then all three are locked, and all three keys are put in the fourth safe (which is more a box than the safe). The magician has three minutes to escape (because that is how much air he has inside), but something "goes wrong" and the doctor arrives at scene. When the safes are opened, they are found to be empty, and than the doctor removes his wig — it is our magician.
I have no idea when this movie was made; all I know is that is at least 10 years old.
I am almost sure (about 95%) that it was in English, but I have no idea whether it was American or British or something else (though probably not 'something else').
The magician was the main character. I will try to write something more, but do not take the following paragraph for guaranteed:
The trick with three safes was something considered impossible. I even think that it was said that Harry Houdini had said that this trick was impossible to perform (but though i AM SURE that Houdini was mentioned, it may be in completely different manner; it is even possible, but with very small probability, that our magician in fact was Houdini — however, I am almost positive that this was not the case). Then the trick was performed as I described, and I even think that that was the end of the movie.
This is all I remember, but I believe I described it well enough and that there would be no problem to help me find the title of this movie.
