Where can I watch a magic show?

Postby Adam Boyes » May 23rd, '07, 13:03

As I've posted in the introductions and Support and tips sections I'm going to try some card and coin tricks....

Now I want to see a live magician in action, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere?! I live in Bristol and have had a quick look on the net but have found nothing?

I thought there may be a resturant that might have a performer?

Hmmm

Becasue these things are so flexible, your best bet for this type of info in your area would be to contact the Bristol Magical Society: http://www.bristolmagic.co.uk/

In fairness, you may be wanting to touch base with them in the future anyhow

Hope this helps Bud! :D

Good advice from Rob

I've met a few of the Bristol chappies (and ladies) and they are a nice friendly bunch. I'm sure that if you contact them they will invite you along to a club night.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

I'm having a bit of a hard time myself in finding good professionals to watch live. I live in the suburbs of Boston (capital of Massachusetts) and unfortunately I'm not in the city very much so I try to find shows locally, which I'm said to say are pretty uncommon.

Let us all know how you get on mate?

If nothing else, I'd certainly be interested to hear all about it...and I'm sure that a lot of newer magi's here would find it helpful too :D
