Just another newb saying hi

just thought I'd say hi to all, think this is a great site.
Just wondering if there is a section or a really good web site or even guys or gals that are involved in (in your face magic)? always loved those tricks. Just watching people standing there with stunned faces and jaws dropped is pretty cool. I played with a few tricks but the problem is because I know how its done it feels that it would be easy for the spectator to figure out, which they haven't so far, any ideas on this also?

card tricks, mental tricks, tricks for small parties, tricks that seem impossible, ect.. of that nature is what I'm really interested in.

you can PM me if any ideas
thanks,
-Mark

Hi and welcome to TM

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Welcome to TM...

I used to have that feeling of "surely if I know the answer of how this is done, the spectator will definitely know?!" The truth of the matter is, they don't! Even the most simple of tricks from childhood - that can stump someone! It's all about practise. Don't do a trick to people unless you have it spot on. I know it's tempting once you've practised a couple of times, but simply DON'T! That way when you get the reaction you want, your confidence will grow...

Good luck

timlic, that is exactly what I was going through.

and I was so happy about a new trick, that I wanted to show it off.

But I will restrain and practice it much more before I show it.

thanks for the advice.
