202 Methods of Forcing by Theodore Annemann

Review

This is an old one but a very good one that just about everyone should have tucked away in their book shelf.

202 Methods of Forcing is just that, a book full of diffferent forces. The majority of the forces are card forces, some of which are truely brilliant. I've often wondered how to force a certain card in a given situation, only to browse through this book and find a number of ways that it could be done.

I say that the majority of the forces are card forces but there is far more in there than just cards. There are some ingenious number forces in there that I'm always finding different uses for. There are also forces for colours, pages, all sorts.

For the price, this is one book that you'll find you keep comming back to, over and over again.

Cost 3.50 from cards4magic

Difficulty 1
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Rating 10/10 for that price you really can't go wrong.

it is indeed a fantastic book, and a genius price...annemann i salute you...

and i salute you lomster for buying it...

when you next have 30 quid or so spare, and you want another superb (but much expanded version of 202), there is Lewis Jones' encyclopedia of forces...absolutely superb that is...

but, you cant go wrong with £3.50 can you...great book...

I printed this off from The Learned Pig website and it a very useful collection of forces.
Great review, Lady of Mystery, by the way.

why, thankyou :D

I always try to add some little cheap book to my shopping basket when buying from the net, you never know when you might stumble across a little gem that you'd have otherwise ignored. That's exactly what this was.

I did a search a while back and was surprised not to find this already reviewed, although referred to in many a thread!
I looked it up and found out how cheap it is

You beat me to the review though, nice one

<2p>Allsorts of forces to suit many different styles at a ridiculous price.
Doesn't go into huge depth about every force, but covers a lot of them in a tidy little pamphlet</2p>

if anyone wants to save a quid, it's £2.50 from davenports.

Makes a nice addition to an order does a book, as you say lady. Even nicer when that "just one more little thing" ands up as good value as this;)

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

I also have the book, I think that it's good because you can use different forces at different occasions.
