I would need some help regarding this as I am new to UK system.

I am planning to open an online magic shop and I was wondering do I need to apply any license ? or other things?

Is it legal to sell thing online here without license?

What is VAT registration? Is it a must to apply for online shop?

I don't really have any experience in this, but you might want to talk to seige. He has his own online magic shop and he might have some good advice and point you in the right direction.

You only have to be VAT registered if your turnover is above a certain limit, below that limit, it's optional. I can't remember what that limit is to be honest with you.

I don't think you need a license to set up an online shop but I'd advise popping into a local bank and having a chat with their small business advisor.
