Corrupted Psychology

Postby Paul Brook » May 30th, '07, 01:32

Hi all,

This video is not really one on magic, it is on the use of psychology; however, the result is very close to magic in my opinion.

From that page there is a link to 3 more video clips in the Video Clip section of my website.

Enjoy,

-Paul

It looks interesting - but unfortunately it's in WMV format (with no option to download it) which, as most Mac users will tell you, is a nightmare to watch... I only got part way through before it stopped :(.

After reading this I was on the phone to my team, who told me that it wouldn't take them 5 mins to add a download link.

All of the video clips now have the option to download them.

Thank you for brining this to my attention. I hope that this helps.

Enjoy :)

That's excellent! :)

Very nice video... very Derren-esque but I prefer how she hands the things over whilst continuing to give you directions.

If I ever see you around Birmingham, I'm steering well clear  :D

Excellent stuff there.

The same idea as Derren's "Russian Scam" thing. Not sure why you had to remove the audio though, Channel 4 didn't.

Thank you for your kind words,

The idea is similar to the 'Russian Scam' but the methodology is quite different. I cannot say too much as I would not wish to give anyones secrets away, as I am sure you can appreciate; however, certain verbal aspects of my method would be able to be copied to some extent and used in a negative manner.

I can do without "Psychological Illusionist Paul Brook has incited a mass crime wave where people are walking up to members of the public and getting them to give over their belongings' in a orderly fashion..." on the evening news lol

Kindest,

-Paul

Given what happened to me the other night in Brum you have no idea how eerie that was to read!

Or maybe you do... :D

Zoinks! Pretty neat, I particularly enjoyed the semi-confused look on the woman's face as she walked away after you had just, for lack of a better word, robbed her. I'd love to see some more videos.

You could make your own commentary up!

"If you don't give me your mobile I'll stalk you for the rest of the day"

Actually it works better with limited audio IMO.
Liked the music too - what/who is it?

Very nice, the Russian scam i believe, similar to the one Derren Brown did.

Well done :D (and a great start to the forum)
