Hello,

Here is my variation of Andrew Mayne's Bowling. Enjoy!

Also, my performance of Fenik's Mexican Revolution.

Well, I dunno if it's just me - but I can hardly make anything out, on either of the vids, as they are both really dark :? .

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

No offence, but why post them if all I can see are shadows, etc :?:

Oh I am sorry! I thought they were visible. I will try to make some new BRIGHT videos soon, as soon as I fix my camera.

You turned the Bowling Ball trick into the levitating bag trick...

Think about the physics of the effect for a moment... You were holding the bag from the back... just the back. There's nothing to get a hold of, nothing to support it. From the spectators' points of view, it's either stuck to your hand or you have some sort of handle or grip in the back.

If you actually pay attention to the way it was originally handled, you'll realize that it's important to handle both sides of the bag. Further, i think shaking a bowling ball out of an empty bag and watching it fall to the floor with a shocked look on your face is far stronger than just pulling a pitcher of water out. Announcing "oh, here it is" takes the surprise away and kills the climax of an otherwise stunning effect.

Ciao,
Rob

yeah i agree with what was said about the floating bag lol, sort this out and this would be a nice variation of the trick. turn over trick was also performed nicely, just work on the handling and counts as they looked quite unnatural. sort out the lighting aswell, it wasnt that bad but it would be nice. well done

The bag trick was quite funny... but you need to practice the handling... mainly because it seemed very unnatural in the way you handled it.

The revolution effect was nice.

The quality of the vids doesn't help... try putting a table lamp BEHIND the camera.

Oh, and also, did your voice break between filming? You have a pre-teen squeak in the Revolution effect, and a deep husky twang in the Bag trick!

Nicely done, though. A goldfish bowl production from the bag wouldn't have been much harder, and would maybe be a little nicer!

The turnover video wasn't that great because there was a seal or something in the foreground and the camera kept refocusing on that and then back on your hands. It was giving my head a spin. Mike, you've really got to work on these tricks before posting them, even if they are old.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.
