A couple of things I'm working on with cards

Postby j0ndrums » May 31st, '07, 16:19

Hi everyone -
I'm looking for more information about a couple of moves I'm working out with cards. I made some short videos on youtube so you could see what I'm talking about. Sorry my webcam sucks.

Specifically, these are all moves I've discovered on my own and are derivative of stuff I've read in Erdnase, Marlo's Revolutionary Card Technique, and to some extent Gene Maze bottom deals. I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with them - so can anyone point me to more information about any of these moves?

EDIT: I re-recorded these videos so they DON'T expose!!!

top card cover two handed shift

SF grip bottom deal (side take)

push through "faro" shuffle

anyway, this is an interesting board - I've read it for a while, and decided to take the plunge and post for help.

Jon

And if, as you said, youve been reading for a while, then you should know to introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself

sorry Jon but these look like exposure videos to me and they tend to get frowned upon here.

ok, sorry - I removed them forever.

ok then. Has anyone ever heard of any these moves? not looking for secrets revealed on the board or anything, rather ideas about where I can get more information (perhaps in print or on DVD).

Thanks.
Jon

They sound pretty similar to other card maneuvers, but I'm not sure exactly if they are the same or not. If you could post vids that aren't exposure and show these moves, it would be easier to tell if you've got something new or not.

Sorry, j0ndrums, I don't think this is new stuff. It's pretty good that you came up with it on your own, though.

j0ndrums you should have a look round the site and you'll find lots of books and DVD's that should provide you what your looking for. If your willing to spend the extra money you could have a shifty at card college. There is tons of info in there.

Oh and don't bother looking on youtube for explanations, it will not go down to well here at all. Also any 'tutorials' that I have come across are badly done and usually wrong to the point of laughable.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.
