Derren Brown's site

Postby Photofnish » Mar 3rd, '04, 01:05

I'm trying to check out the products on Derren Brown's site, and I'm supposed to enter an answer for the following:

The "Push-off" and the "Strike" are two examples of which common card sleight?

I punched in the two words -- and it says I'm wrong. What am I missing here?

Any help would be appreciated. Is there a British term for the DL that I don't know about?

Hee hee...

You're way off the mark with a DL, although this question IS slightly ambiguous...

Don't worry, the answer is no big deal.

Keep trying. If at first you don't succeed...

It confused me too, since I never play high stakes card games I rarely use this technique.

Maybe a little overcautious, but with Derren's position in the public eye many laypeople would be likely to buy his products in the hope of finding out how he does his TV stuff. I can't really see that this would be a problem since anything that they would buy would go right over the heads of anyone with no experience, but there you go.

Nice

very clever, but those do sound like DL techniques, especially cause the DL is always used in a question

Hope it did not take you too long
