No thanks, I can only read so much c*** (not the best) a year. Thanks to your "notes" I have filled reached the limit.

Maybe if I find time when I have absolutly nothing to do, I might decide to explain why its so bad. But as of now I have more important matters.

Quite rude of you.. How do you know you will not like my other notes?

Besides, everyone has their own seperate tastes.

david, although you dont seem to like his notes you must remember that he went out of his way to send them to you and did so as long as you wrote a review. what you have posted is not that! a review of why you didnt like it is the least you can sent to someone who has sent you their material for free! this really is an ethic issue but because there have been a few comments to Mr. Kras in the past you decide to jump on the band wagon! give some constructive critisism instead of getting on your high horse and refusing to review it like you were asked!

I have read Michael's notes. I have to say, they are not anything amazing. I certainly wouldn't put them up for sale. It is clear he has tried hard and put effort into them. However, i feel that pictures are would work wonders. I also feel that they are disorganised. I feel you should have a section for cards, coins etc.

In all honesty, I don't feel these notes were fantastic by any means. I think this because they wer enothing special. Most novice magicians could perform the effects described, I don't think they offer anything new to the table.

Well that's my little thing done :)

I think what's jarring with many members, Michael, if you don't mind me saying so, is that in one post Michael#1 is offering notes and "magic services" and talking of performing lectures, then in the next post Michael#2 is asking for help developing his act and inviting support before his first competition.

You're clearly an intelligent person - you must see the two don't add up.

Put Michael#1 down to experience and become Michael#2 full-time: it suits you more, and you'll be a FAR better magician in the long-run. Which is what you want, surely?

Even I can see that, and I struggle to make ice-cubes disappear.

The copy I was sent still had material which had already been published (and done better). In my lengthy critique of his notes I mentioned this - and for my hour of writing received nothing in response: no thanks, no acknowledgment that he would take out or alter or even credit the published material.

I agree, though - he is 14, and I do think that in time and with more experience he could be contributing some great magic to the community.

My God, Cardza! I am so sorry for keeping you waiting! I apologize for that.

STILL Waiting, David  AND Everyone else! Where the heck are all of you guys?

Also, since it seems Tricklets is a failure, I will send you Mad About Magic, a manuscipt that seems to be much better than Tricklets! Anyone want to review it!

Thank you!

Quick question for Mr Kras, this isn't an attack or anything! Just a question...

What are you aiming for? Do you want to be a successful performer to lay people or release successful material to the community?

Thanks,

P.H.

He wants to be Jay sankey

Just kidding.. it seems to me that he wants to be both.. a successful performer and a creator of successful effects. The only problem i see with this is that at the moment, it doesnt SEEM that enough practice is being put in for learning the theory.

Its all performances and releases and not enough getting down and dirty learning the fundamentals and theory in order to make a performance work..

hes 14 and has plenty of time to make the neccessary adjustments

www.youtube.com/brum2redmagic !! Youtube Project started.. early days

Reading: Nothing right now
Studying: loving band redemption
Performing: Speechless, Stand up Monte, Coinvexed,

That's quite okay, I wasn't sure if you were simply disregarding it or had just forgotten or what, so thanks for letting me know :)

Perhaps we should be a little careful about writing this urchin off. He may be a child prodigy or something. I well remember some 14 year old kid came into my Blackpool magic studio when I wasn't there. My assistant told me that an utterly brilliant kid came in with wonderful ideas that he had written out in longhand for my perusal.

Naturally I ignored it and couldn't be bothered looking. Later on he emerged as distinguished magic author David Britland full of creativity.

Although my natural instinct is to tear this awful child to pieces. However I am hesitant to do so in case he turns out to be another David Britland. I don't want to make the same mistake again.

Be careful everybody in case you have a child genius on your hands.

Careful

Wsnt albert Goshman sent home from the magic castle when he was a lad and told to practice more?

And Mr Kras one is still waiting.
