Hello everybody,

I'm not going to lie, I've been accidently lurking on these forums for a few days now-as google keeps comming up with your threads! So I thought I better join and stop feeling like a peeping tom. Anyways, I'm a 19 year old student moving onwards to do post grad medicine. Magic had always fascinated me, so over the years I've learnt a few tricks and routines but would class myself severely newbie at the art. I understand the majority of the rulings and exposure (a phrase which is totally overused nowadays anyway) etc. My sleights are basic, with nothing more than force rifles, card palming, double flips, hindu shuffle etc.

I've been looking to take magic up seriously as a pastime, willing to invest lots of time and effort (took me ages to learn to one hand cut and shuffle properly!), so hopefully i'll be welcome here! I just need direction and moulding, as my skills are severely restricted and unpolished, so any tips-pointers to good books and websites dvds etc to get me started would be ever so appreciated.
