Hey its about that time when i feel I need to purchase a nice gimmic to blow people away?

I dont want anything coin or card based though? Anything particulary popular with peeps at the moment?

A TT is very good, but don't forget about PK rings. Their effects can be coin based but you can really tailor them to most anything you think up.

well...its probably best if you just whizz through various magic sites and look at the "new" section then surely?

its a bit hard to second guess what you may or may not already have...why dont you have a look thru outlaw effects site?

It does look nice, but JB seems to be talking about it being months before it comes to market. Not cheap either for a hobbyist.

Look into loops if you don't already 'do' them. It's a nice meaty area to get your teeth into (innuendo thread begone!) with a lot of variety in terms of the range of effects you can produce. Don't go for the E stuff though (definitely not straight away anyway). Just get Mesika's Animated Miracles and either a box of loops or sort yourself out with that STElTh thingummajig that siege is flogging....errr purveying to discerning prestidigitators of taste and perspicacity.

What you call heroism is just an expression of this fact; there is never a scarcity of idiots

"Teleportation"?! That's a fancy word for good old "vanish", with the inevitable "re-appear"! I'm going to start using that...

Amusingly, if you have John Archer's "Educating Archer" (which you should, it's brilliant, and you can learn so much more from John than just the routines), he mentions his improvements and thoughts on the ring vanishing hanky, and actually describes trying out Richard Sanders' product (as a home made idea - the Any Ring hadn't come out yet) before dismissing it as not really working and moving on to further development! Which I found quite funny... I wonder if Richard Sanders owns that DVD

Why not just go through the tricks and props review section to see if anything tickles your fancy there?

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.
