You all slaugtered me on my previous tricks because my Fanning was ****!
So all I ask is that someone post a link to a good fanning tutorial.
I was also told to learn the basics so could some one recommend a good basic sleights and card tricks book.

If you are new to magic then i suggest you get royal road to card magic, as it also contains useful slights inc the fan!!!

Get RRTCM, but also get Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic. It's good some really good stuff about card flourishes.

Get the Paul Wilson DVD to the RRTCM. The way he shows you gets you doing it in about ten minutes.

dude, go to www.flourishman.com and buy the encyclopedia of playing card flourishes. all the fans and everything else you could possibly need to learn fora beginner. also a great bibliography for further study! be warned it's $75 but it is worth far more than that, the book is MASSIVE and has almost three THOUSAND photos in it.
