Flash Computer ???

Postby I.D » Jun 6th, '07, 10:42

Last night my wife and myself were sitting down by the pc working out some finances, and at some point she reached into my shirt pocket and pulled out a bunh of flash sheets ( pad size ). After asking what they were I said 'unfinished money'.

She knew what was coming ( I obviously didnt ). I placed the rest of the sheets on the table right in front of the monitor. With the one flash sheet in hand ( and I happened to have a £2 pinger palmed ) I asked her to hold her hand out. She wouldnt.

STUPID ME>> What did I do?

I thought '' fine Ill do it on the table '' ... lit the flash sheet, dropped it by accident.. it fell down set the other 19 flash sheets on fire.. the entire table went up in smoke and the smoke alarm started screaming Hazard..

My response.... TADAA!!!

Needless to say she was not impressed. Anyway.. this morning I got up to use my pc ( it was fine for a good few hours after last night and about 30 mins this morning ) decided to conk itself out and im left with a black screen at home now.. pc works.. monitor seems dead..

A magic trick of the most successful standard me thinks :?

Ah, the infamous "Incinerating Computer" effect. Very difficult indeed.

If you look around rummage shops, you can find a good monitor for $100 (So 50 pounds for you). I found a widescreen monitor at a flea market for $25! I snapped that bad boy up quick. The only problem is that it barely fits on my desk and I have to put it near the edge  . But it's still awesome! :D :D
