I don't even pay attention to the guy these days. In my considered opinion, Yoda is a much better magician than Angel.

Mike.

Yoda was class!!

Did you see Yoda's rendition of Red Hot Mama.. I still dont know how he did that??

I hear Yoda isnt performing much these days.. he saves his performances for 'special events'

I saw a promo for the new version of MINDFREAK and it shows for about 10 seconds Angel getting rolled over by a steamroller.

I know I may make myself incredibly unpopular with some folks here, but:

Angel...Blaine....Meh - they leave me quite cold

As much as I detest Elluisionist, I actually think Brad C is more entertaining (though not necessarily for the right reasons  )

Luxor Light

Postby card_shark_2006 » Jun 6th, '07, 23:07

Have you guys seen the Luxor Light levitation!? It was breathtaking. He levitates right in the beam of the luxor hotel & casino light. It is amazing. They showed it from spectators point of view (not the SPOV cam) they retrieved home videos from spectators that were there. It was the opening episode of season 3.

It was quite a beautiful homage to his dead father. Quite a nice episode!

I taped a Chris Angel show off of ITV4 the other morning and I just didn't warm to him.

The introduction sequence to Mindfreak looks very satirical without meaning to be IMO.

Me and the missus thought it was a joke plus he's annoying!

That's my opinion anyway!

Yeah but I'm not sure the same method could be used with a steamroller.

He uses camera tricks, multiple edits, and fake spectators as well.
When he floated from building to building is a prime example of what a complete charlatan he is.
