Next time your at work try this!

I've been doing a little experiment of my own. Whilst at work out our with friends ill whistle or hum the first few lines of a popular song. Although not enough to obviously give away the song. You can then see who is susceptible to picking on it when they begin whistling the whole tune not long after you started.
With a little thought this is a great subconscious phenomenon to play with! People will swear that they just started humming the song and they don't know why!

I do that as well! But I sing it instead and people usually interupt my beautiful voice by singing it a little later. Always makes me smile

i found that if you start whistling the laurel and hardy theme tune, it can make people start kinda waddling in time with it...

'What do the letters S-H-O-P spell...' :D

It's an interesting phenomenon, useful for some on-the-spot predictions and such.

I like doing that. For me, I usually do an embarrassing little song like something from a little kids show or some horrid pop song. Then when somebody else starts singing/humming/whistling it I say "Are you really singing/humming/whistling that? You are so weird!" Then they get all embarrassed  . But don't worry, I only do it for fun, never evil purposes.

We're not allowed happiness in our office. It is sincerely frowned upon. *Sob*.

I Know exactly what you mean.... I put the radio on once and was asked by an old accounts guy I minded turning it off because it was disrupting his concentration!!

We're not allowed radios, headphones. We were recently told off for talking about non-work related things.

Smiling and laughter are strictly prohibited.

And whats really sad, I'b being 100% serious. :(

I tried this at work today but no one joined in. Mind you, I am self employed and there's only me here...
