Coincidences

Postby Java » Jun 8th, '07, 16:57

When performing card effects I'm seriously considering having a second deck of cards hanging about on the table that has been prepared in some way and then used should a coincidence occur. For example, have one of the cards reversed somewhere in the deck so should someone happen to pick that card during one of my effects, ask them to open the deck and looking though it. If the coincidence never occurs then no attention need to be drawn to it. Does anyone else do this kind of thing and is it worth the bother?

An ID on the table is both an insurance policy and a very nice finisher for this kind of thing if you don't need to use it to get out of trouble.

That's a good idea. Hadn't thought of using an ID as an all purpose out.
