mr Lewis and even young Mr krass is right gimmick non gimmick its all the same to the spec half the time.

Now if I owned a red card but didnt have a blue one does this make me any less of a car owner. Well yes I dont own a car but you get my point.

Great post Mr Lewis and very well put. This comes up quite a lot on this forum. People try to demean other by saying they just use gimmicks whether it is true or not. If they are not saying this then they are trying to carefully get across how great they are without it looking to arrogant. It is typical magician behaviour. Actually I don't really like magicians on the whole, the typical magician that is. You must know the ones I mean. Many of you will no doubt read this and say "yeah I know what you mean that is not me though", well think again. I am always weary of falling into the c*** (not the best) magician hole that so many have (and I'm not talking about technical ability).

I was genuinely confused. I thought there was a video about sleight of hand somewhere but I couldn't find it.
