Hello all,

Been meaning to stop by for a while, but always got distracted. My grandad and his neighbour got me into magic when I was a kid, but sadly they both passed away before I was old enough to appreciate their wisdom. I ended up with a few boxes of tricks from the 20-60s and no-one to teach me what they were for.

I'd like to think I'd done quite well since then. Generally, it is my wife who demands performances after dinner when friends come round, and so i tend to aim for close up and mental effects that will floor 8 people after they've had a glass or two of wine, leaving me able to say "If you want to see more you'll have to invite us for dinner, sorry"

In addition I like clean impromtu stuff that i can do anywhere when people least expect it.

In my experience, there is nothing more dangerous than a magic shop or website on pay day.

My best experiences have been having my friends look scared and bewildered, one girl ran out of the house screaming, and the shake of the head and the smile I get from the missus when she sees somthing new.

Hope I can help you all out at some point with somthing and visa versa. I quite like writing comedy routines, if you need one, just ask and I'll try help.
