Also this gimmick you have come up with. Does it change the certain requirment you need for the coin to vanish? That may be usefull to others. But I also think that one of the beauties of Revolution is that it remains gimmickless. But hey if it suits your style then that's brilliant and I'm sure others will be interested in what you have found. Just make sure not to give it to people who may not own Revolution!

It does not change the method in any way, it simply helps elliminate some difficulties.

It is a pity, yes. Perhaps there is still a bright side. I have found that if you perform an effect very well, you can even fool those who have seen it exposed (as well as the one who exposed it!) There is an art to being deceptive. Those who have not studied and practiced the performance of this art will not deceive very many!

Every one's Uncle Bob can make a coin disappear. But, I can
really do it! I use a similar concept as Uncle Bob uses, but I'm much better at it than he is - now I can fool Bob, and Bob's your Uncle!

I think the illusion looks good but I think I have worked out the majority of it from poorly performed videos on youtube etc. I still want to buy the kevin Parker instructional vid although ellusionist doesn't accept my card... darn it. It's so annoying because everywhere else does and they're the only ones who often have exclusive products. Also struggling to get hold of the new Bicycle master deck - don't want to pay international shipping rates from amazon.com. Anyone know where I can buy a master deck in London?

But anyway, I think revolution is a great looking effect if it is performed right and practised. People always criticise things when they don't get an instantaneous solution! It's good to know that hard work and practice will always pay off heh!

Hi peeps, I bought revolution from Ellusionist and I was disapointed as well as impressed. The guy in the demo and the camera angle helps make the trick look fantastic! Body position feels unatrual to do this one without the spectator working it out. but with LOTS of practice it is a great vanish in the right conditions, seated audience perhaps...
Quality of the dvd is real good, no complaints at all.

Trickyfield, I have performed this effect many times and not once have I been caught out on the method. And practice is needed, but not a lot. I'd say less than an hour and you'll have it like a pro. And angles? You have about 180 degrees to play with, the same as most magic effects. And the audience no way needs to be seated, I have never performed it for a seated audience.

But if thats what you think, then so be it. I think a lot of people were disappointed with the method along with myself, but after I practiced for a little while, I started to love the method. Remember, Simple Hits Hard, and this effect proves that statement a million times over.

I have bought revolution as well, but I really really love the trick! of course, the method is a bit dissapointing, but it does give u a complete vanish!

Most of my friends that I perform in front of are amazed, although one person I performed to had some ideas about how the illusion works, but that was probably more because of my poor angle management that time rather than the illusion itself!

Not a MUST buy, I would say, but rather a neat little trick that could look great in ur repertoir! Could be used as an opener to catch people's attention or something, as Brad says in the video.

could you do this with your arms on a table and legs underneath the table?
