Goldfish mentioned that he used it as a quick routine with a "find the card, lose the card, find the card" effect.

Yes, I do Kati. I might see if I can record a quick demo of it.

It shouldn't really matter. The only thing will be that an old deck may be slightly sticky and thus make it harder for the card to be angled out before making it spin.

Try watching the video again and watch my fingers on the close up version.

Has this video disappeared from the internet..? I need some help with the moves and was hoping to get a better look. The Daryl vid doesnt seem to be from a great angle.

This is the only thread I've resurrected.... Was hoping for a look at the video. I must admit I didn't realise how old the thread was when I posted. I found it via the Search function.

What's more annoying, bumping an old thread or posting a duplicate thread on the same topic?

Nothing wrong with bumping a thread. Sometimes you need an answer and it's the only place that you can find to ask the question!

Don't fret about it

I'd much prefer someone searched, read and bump an old thread rather than just start new theads willy nilly. (btw I don't wanna see that quoted in the innuendo thread).

Also yeah the video was removed for some reason as I checked this thread out a while ago. I'd advise you to have a look at Paul Harris' version of this, its a lot easier but gets the same effect. I personally don't like making life harder than it needs to be.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

Thanks, I have Art of Astonishment vol 3 which teaches his version. I was having some trouble visualizing the move between figures 3 and 4 (the begin of the cut to having there two packets side my side. I'm not adept with fancy cuts at this stage....

Would anyone be willing to record the Harris version in progress?

Hi Rob,

I don't use this forum as much any more because I'm quite busy over on Magic Bunny but I just stopped in for a quick look and by coincidence here was this (very very old!!) thread. Unfortunately the clip has been taken off my website where it was hosted and indeed the website itself is no more. However, seeing as there seems to be an interest I'll try and find it on my computer and if I do I'll try to get it on YouTube.

All the best,

Will

p.s. remember how old this video is now

Hi Will,

I certainly appreciate the effort. I'm also on the bunny and think I've read most of the threads concerning this cut there also... :)

I'm getting a "this video is not available" message with both.

It might take a while for YouTube to sort it out. Give it a few hours and try again. If its still not working tommorow I'll sort something else out.
