Hello there, just thought that i'd best intriduce myself to be polite if I'm goint to be getting some good info of you nice people here.
I have been a proffessional street performer for seven years now and am still making myself a good living doing so. I have been a juggler/escapologist during this time but have always practiced magic on and off since running a wee magic and juggling shop in sydney about 8 years ago for a few months. However i was always aprehensive, well ok, scared of doing the more awkward slights in public. But in the last year I have informed me agents that i wanted to start doing more close up and my working life has improved a great deal. All those side steals/ passes/ vanishes and palms are working beautifuly and i have the fear that I had has turned into a genuine passion/obsession. I am again getting that buzz perfoming and really enjoying not getting all sweaty and knackered in the straight jacket. Not being big headed but my street show is very successful so if anyone would like any advice on this side of thing I would be glad to give my best. This seems fair as I need advice on slights and the world of professional magic
Well that was long, hope your still with me. Lovely site by the way.
Oh nearly forgot im 30 and am based in london/sheffield and am a working professional,

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

I think it's safe to say that somebody with such working experience as yourself is very welcome here. I know that I personally would benefit from tips on getting into street performance aswell as what works and what doesnt.

I hope to see you around the forums soon.

All the best

Fish
