Postby greedoniz » Jun 15th, '07, 15:22

So the festival season is pretty much in full swing so what about Talk Magics Summer song Compilation album?

The summeriest songs you know. Try not too be too obvious now....Yes I mean Mungo Jerry!

My 2 cents

Legal Man - Belle And Sebastian
Les Fluer - 4Hero

Groove Armada - Easy

Not sure why, just reminds me of sitting out the back on a sunny day with a cold one in my hand and this song playing in the background.

You might as well put on- By the river by Groove Armada while you have their album on.

Its another great one for a lazy summers day. (If you like that sort of thing)

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

Cyprus Mornings by Marcos Diniz

It's some great acoustical guitar with a little bit of accompanimant. I love it.

Talking of Mungo Jerry, thank to the nanny state you can't "Have a drink, have a drive."

Ah, the good ol' seventies. I remember speeding down the M4 swigging from my 2nd bottle of scotch of the morning & no one batted an eyelid.

I think Mika's 'Lollipop' song will get a vast amount of airplay this summer but I like 'Barbados' by Typically Tropical & 'Cheeky Holiday' by the wonderful Cheeky Girls.
