Hi Lindz

How many, and are you looking for a full size set or ninja ring size?

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

No idea Dat never seen them as entertaining before so I haven't used them but now I'm starting to move more to classic magic and away from all this new dissapointing stuff that seems to be comic out. The only specifications I really need are they have to be quite smallish for close-up stuff but that's it really other than that I really don't have much knowledge on them.

I was going to put thanks Dat on the previous post as I had an idea you would respond maybe I'm psychic

I have the full-size linking rings and don't use them as much. I would say buy the smaller ones, that way it's more easy to carry the effect around.

If you want them for close up then I recommend the Ninja size rings - I think that they are 5.25 inch and you can get a cheap set for less then a tenner but I recommend the official ones - It's a fantastic routine but it takes some practice and I do mean some practice

However, if you want a full size set (think that they are 10 inch) which are really only any good for stage work then I have a set of four that you can have for the postage which should be around £3 to £4.

I've just NEVER been able to get the hang of these despite being OK with the smaller ones.

Cheers Dat I will have the big set if you want to get rid of them just let me know how much and Ill paypal the money over. They might come in handy later on when I start to work on my stage show. As for practise I have loads of time for that so that's not a problem. Also how do I know which are the official ones. Cheers mate

If you PM me your address then I'll post them at the weekend and let you know how much it cost when they are on the way

I got them for the very same reason (from Seige I think) and they've sat in the cupboard since then, apart from a couple of tries.

I should have really devoted more practice time to them but there's just so many other things and I just know that I won't use them.

At least I know that they are going to a good home

Small rings

Postby Trickyfied » Jun 19th, '07, 01:35

I just got Jay Sankey's 3 ring circus. Same linking ring method but with key rings. Well worth buying for the dvd, it has extra tricks on it with cards etc. The ring routines are excellent and great for close up, you let the spec examine all 3 rings before and after the linking, definatley the sort of thing you always walk with in your pocket, everyday object and classic magic. I got mine from dude thats cool magic, cheapest I could find and excellent service.

I use the set I made from 75 cents worth of macrame hoops... they work just fine for me.
