Take some magic...mix alcohol...and have a laugh...

Postby Beardy » Jun 18th, '07, 23:53

well, I went out on the booze sat night, and had a bit of fun with James Brown's 11p trick.

i used the final load, then thought id carry on (being as pished as I was)

so I revealed the pot of Jam, then took that away and revealed a pack of condoms (yes...it was performed for a female), then took them away and revealed an empty can of fanta, out of which i took another pack of condoms (hehe - needless to say I pulled ;))

This, I thought, was a right old laugh :P

so - any of you guys ever taken a trick, mixed it with alcohol, and just...well...had a laugh with it, have a bit of fun?

Love

Chris

Not very subtle are you?

I personally have never mixed booze w/ magic (as I am underage) but I have seen other people try it. The results I've seen have never been good. I'm glad it worked out for you though. :D

P.S. How did the girl react? I'm guessing you either got slapped in the face or woke up the next morning with a pleased feeling. :D

I've actually quit drinking now to get back into magic and focus more on my performances. Alcohol just gives you less of an advantage in my opinion.

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

I certainly wouldn't go about showing girls tricks like that for fear of getting a slap.

Generally tricks in bars a good banter but only after a few and no more. I was trolleyed one night and tried to show a few tricks only to drop the entire deck onto the floor. I think I came of with something like "I was trying out card through floor but haven't quite perfected it yet".

Some strong self workers are good though.

One thing I find with drunk people is that there is no happy medium with them, they are either very good or very bad. They can be easy to get things by and will shout and cheer at some things. But on the other side of the coin drunk people can also do there absolute best to find out the secret and catch you out. They'll get into your personal space a lot more.

You'll obviously got the nice end of the drunks, just wait until you get the latter :D a slapped face or a disgruntaled boyfriend isn't to nice on a night out.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.
