My skill level is rather lower at the momment begineer but i can do a few tricks and i love to rbign a smile to peoples faces.

I am lookingforward to spendings hours reading the forum!!

Hi! I would recommend not learning from youtube. The teaching will be poor quality and it destroys the art of magic. If you are in to card magic, I recommend this (pretty much everyone on this forum will recommend this) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Royal-Road-Card-Magic/dp/0572029187/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/026-1967423-5729245?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1182352410&sr=8-1

If you're into coin magic:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Modern-Coin-Magic-Sleights-Tricks/dp/0486242587/ref=pd_bowtega_1/026-1967423-5729245?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1182352437&sr=1-1

Also a book that really helped me when I first started magic http://http://www.amazon.co.uk/Art-Magic-Nicholas-Einhorn/dp/0754810925/ref=sr_1_7/026-1967423-5729245?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1182352507&sr=1-7

Thankyou for your replys very swift im impressed!

Thankyou also for the advice yes youtube was just an insperation to learn not exactly to learn from, as like you siad there are a few poor quality magic videos.

I am interested in card magic (poker magic)

Also very interested in close up magic like James Brown simply amazing would love to be able to do that. So i suppose thats my main aim rather than card magic.

Thankyou very much i feel such a warm welcome

Hey welcome to TM, I've recently bought Royal Road to Card Magic, a book suggested above, and it amazed me how much you get from it! Top buy!

Welcome

I've posted in one of your other threads about James Brown where you can start looking on TM to find a starting point in the wider world of magic.

Enjoy
